Description: Fauna brings a beautiful selection of photographs and articles to readers several times every year. This winter, they decided to deliver the magazine on a CD, providing a more interactive format for their readers. They called on Quantum Imagery to bring their dreams to life.
For the project, Fauna needed both a CD cover and application, both needs that Quantum Imagery provided. Under time constraints, the entire application, from the first sketches to the Golden Master were completed in under three weeks -- quite an accomplishment for a process that normally takes several months. Most importantly, Fauna was thrilled with the final product, and they made shipping deadlines to their subscribers.
Technical Details: The CD cover was created in Adobe Photoshop, and printed in a full Four-Color press run. All application components were developed in Macromedia Flash, with video imported from Final Cut Pro.
The Magazine is processor sensitive, adjusting video detail level and graphic intensity to a load that will play smoothly, even on systems below the minimum specifications.
* Since the project was designed for CD, download time will be high.
